On Sunday, US President-elect Donald Trump announced his plans to create a team at the White House Office of Science &Technology Policy (OSTP). In this team, he has chosen Indian-origin entrepreneur & author Sriram Krishnan as Senior Policy Advisor for AI (Artificial Intelligence). Apart from this, he will also play a pivotal role in American leadership.
Krishnan will be working closely with venture capitalist, David Sacks. David is said to be the next “White House AI & Crypto Czar”. David addressed the team that Trump has gathered as an “extraordinary team” of “amazing talent”.

A Look at the Career of Krishnan
He was born in Chennai in a middle-class family and pursued his bachelor’s from SRM Engineering College. After his graduation, he joined Microsoft, where he was a founding member of Windows Azure. As his career grew, he was appointed to some important positions in various reputed companies like Twitter, Yahoo!, Facebook, Snap, etc. Till recently, he was a General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz.
