The 2025 batch of students of the IIT Patna is making headlines for achieving remarkable stats of 200 plus job offers in the first placement phase. This year’s average package is 25.52 lakhs, so far. These figures are better than the previous year. According to sources, there are a total of 58 pre-placement offers for the students. Around 15 or more students have been offered a package of 60 lakh plus this year. The current director of IIT Patna, Prof. TN Singh is very happy with the accomplishment of their students.
As of now, more than 70 companies from all over the world have participated in this placement drive. Some of the popular companies that have given placement as of now are Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Accenture, Reliance, HPCL, etc. The hybrid model was chosen for interviews ie. both online & offline mode interviews took place.
Even Japanese companies have given job offers to 12 students of IIT Patna to come to Japan and work with them. This shows that the IIT Patna student’s talent is also in demand globally.
Second phase of Placement
The first phase of placement was very successful for IIT Patna students and it will end after the third week of December 2024. The second phase will begin in mid-January 2025. The institute has helped the students to develop their skills to meet the current job market requirements. All the selected students have a bright future waiting for them.
