The application continuously adds up new features and different security features by the Meta-owned platform. With the New Year 2025, many Android smartphones will not serve WhatsApp anymore.
From January 1, 2025, more than 20 Android smartphones will no longer be compatible with WhatsApp, as they are running old versions of Android, namely Android 4.4, otherwise known as KitKat, or earlier software versions. As stated by some sources, Meta company- which owns Whatsapp – is slowly discontinuing the use of these older devices as part of ongoing updates to ensure their devices function well and are secured. Therefore, if you have one of these phones, it is time to upgrade so that you can access the application.
