From January 1, 2025, more than 20 Android smartphones will no longer be compatible with WhatsApp, as they are running old versions of Android, namely Android 4.4, otherwise known as KitKat, or earlier software versions. As stated by some sources, Meta company- which owns Whatsapp – is slowly discontinuing the use of these older devices as part of ongoing updates to ensure their devices function well and are secured.
