Due to ongoing differences with PM Justin Trudeau, Canada’s Deputy PM and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland has stepped down from her post. Chrystia Freeland was one of the most influential people in the Trudeau government. But her resignation has raised questions about Trudeau’s leadership.
Why did Chrystia Freeland resign?
Trudeau has asked Chrystia to resign from the finance minister post. Chrystia was given some other ministry in the cabinet, which offended her and that’s why she chose to resign from the cabinet.

She has advised that the upcoming US Trump administration is threatening to impose 25% tariff and to deal with such scenario government must be prepared.
