PM Modi attended the AI Action Summit, Paris

Prime Minister Of India Narendra Modi and President of France Emmanuel Macron jointly hosted a summit on Artificial Intelligence on Tuesday. During this summit, Modi urged collective global efforts to create operating systems and standards for AI. He also stated that AI is already transforming our economy, security, and society. AI renders the code for humanity in this very century. We are still in the nascent stage of the AI ​​era, which will chart humanity’s destiny.

According to the Prime Minister, collective global efforts are needed to establish governance and standards that uphold our common values, address risks, and build trust. When the fear of losing jobs due to AI was mentioned, he stated that history has witnessed that technology does not eliminate work but alters them and creates new types of work. Therefore, we need to invest in skilling our people for an AI-driven future and preparing them for new ways of working.

PM Modi also thanked French President Emmanuel Macron for inviting him to AI Action Summit, Paris. The French President’s office has stated that the next international conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) will happen in India. This will take place after the one that is being co-chaired with France.
