CM Rekha released WhatsApp number for sending suggestions for Delhi budget 2025

The Delhi budget will be presented in the Delhi Assembly between March 24 and March 26. But before that, the Delhi government is going to prepare the budget for the coming year based on the opinion of the public. The Ministers, MLAs, and officers of the government will take opinions from the public. People from different sections will be called to the Assembly to make suggestions.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced in a press conference that, in order to speed up the pace of development, the government should try to incorporate suggestions from all sections of the society by taking them along. This budget is Delhi’s budget. Suggestions of the public at large should be included in it.

“Very important areas such as financial help to women, expansion of health services, promotion of public transport, pollution control, job creation, quality education, food, senior citizen welfare, cleaning of Yamuna river, continuation of welfare schemes, etc., will be the focus areas in our manifesto,” she said further.

On behalf of the Delhi government, we have launched a website email viksitdelhibudget-25@delhi.gov.in and a WhatsApp number 9999962025, where individual Delhi residents may send in their suggestions in writing. Different women’s organizations have been called to attend meetings on March 5. The business community has been named to come on March 6. Our ministers and MLAs will get in touch with rural areas in Delhi, all the various education world and youth groups, and have discussions with them for their input. The budget of Delhi will be prepared based on this.
