The Delhi government today took a major decision regarding rising pollution levels in the capital. Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa announced on Saturday that the vehicles older than 15 years in Delhi will not get petrol and diesel after March 31. For this, a special team will be formed which will identify such vehicles.
Installation of anti-smog guns
Apart from this, it is going to be mandatory for the big hotels of Delhi, some big office complexes, Delhi Airport, and big construction sites to immediately install anti-smog guns under the pollution control.
There will be cloud seeding
Now, we have taken a decision today that whatever permission we need, we will take it for cloud seeding and ensure that when there is severe pollution in Delhi, rain can be caused through cloud seeding and control pollution.
Plant trees and shrubs in empty spaces
Indeed, Sirsa had convened an officials’ meeting to control Delhi pollution. Many big decisions were taken at this type of meeting. It will also plant trees and plants in vacant places within Delhi.
